Market movers: CADBURY (-9.65%), FTNCOCOA (-7.14%), CILEASING (+9.94%), UCAP (+5.64%).
Sector Performances: Banking (-0.83%), Consumer Goods (-0.88%), Industrial, Oil & Gas.
Market activity: In today’s early trade, total volume and value declined by c. 33% and c.44% respectively compared to this time last Friday, as investors have exchanged c.113million units of shares worth c. N1.65billion. ZENITHBANK (-2.72%) is the most actively traded stock with c.45million units of shares accounting for c.40% of total volume.
Likely close: In the absence of a significant gain in DANGCEM, we may see the market print in the red today if the sell-off in Banking and Consumer Goods sectors continues.
