Market activity: In today’s early trade, while total volume declined by about 70%, total value increased by 147% compared to this time yesterday as investors have exchanged about 115million units of shares valued at N795million. FCMB is the most actively traded stock thus far with about 50million units of shares accounting for about 43% of the total volume.
Likely close: In the absence of significant gains in the prices of DANGCEM and MTNN, the market may close down today if the losses recorded in Banking and Oil & Gas sectors persist.
