MIDDAY UPDATE: Nigerian Stocks Inch Down -0.20% amid Losses Across Sectors

Market movers:  LINKASSURE (-8.62%), SKYAVN (-7.22%)WEMABANK (+9.09%) and UCAP (+9.09%). 

Sector Performances:  Industrial (-3.24%), Oil & Gas (-0.25%), Consumer Goods (-0.01%) and Banking (+1.47%).

Market activity: In today’s early trade, while total volume inched up by 1%, total value declined 2% compared to this time yesterday as investors have traded 61million units of shares worth about N541million. ACCESS (+1.60%) is the most actively traded stock thus far with about 13million units of shares accounting for about 21% of the total volume. 

Likely close: In the absence of significant gains in the prices of MTNN and DANGCEM, the market may close down today if the losses in most sectors persist.
