Sector Performances: Oil & Gas (+0.76%), Industrial (+0.53%), Consumer Goods (+0.48%) and Banking (+0.35%).                      

Market activity: In today’s early trade, while total volume rose by 29%, total value fell by 36%, compared to last week Friday, as investors have traded about 76million units of shares worth approximately N675million. UBA (+2.46%) is the most actively traded stock thus far with about 21million units of shares accounting for about 28% of the total volume.

Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of DANGCEM and MTN, the market may close up today if the gains in most sectors persist.
