Market activity: In today’s early trade, while total volume rose by 21%, total value fell by 81% compared to this time last Thursday as investors have traded about 473million units of shares worth N1.51billion. AIICO (-6.35%) is the most actively traded stock thus far with about 271million units of shares accounting for about 57% of the total volume.
Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of DANGCEM and MTN, the market may close up today if the gains in the Banking and Industrial sectors persist.
