The NGXASI advanced by 0.75% today to close at 100,335.30pts, as the buy-interest in MTNN (+10.00%), DANGSUGAR (+10.00%) and OANDO (+9.09%) drove the market into the green zone.

In the Fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed bearish, as there were significant selloffs observed across all tenors of the curve, consequently Average T-Bills yield increased by 74bps to close at 18.30%. Similarly, the FGN Bond market traded on a bearish note as the Average FGN Bond yields rose by 66bps to close at 18.01%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.22% to close at NGN 1,602.17/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) decreased by 0.48% to USD82.56pb.
