The NGXASI advanced by 0.70% today to close at 102,044.84pts, as the buy-interest in ZENITHBANK (+6.47%), DANGSUGAR (+9.97%) and UBA (+5.02%) drove the market into the green zone.

In the Fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed bearish, as there were selloffs observed across mid and long tenors of the curve, consequently Average T-Bills yield increased by 2bps to close at 18.82%. Similarly, the FGN Bond market traded on a bearish note as well, the Average FGN Bond yields advanced by 2bps to close at 18.03%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 1.58% to close at NGN 1,617.96/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) increased by 0.29% to USD82.32pb.
