Sector Performances: Banking (+1.20%), Consumer goods (-0.71%), Industrial and Oil & Gas.

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value declined by 51% and 2% when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 234 million units of shares worth N5.73 billion.

TRANSCORP (-6.18%) is the most traded stock by volume and value with about 144 million units of shares worth about N2.69 billion accounting for 61% and 47% of the total volume and value.

Likely close: In the absence of any significant depreciation in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close in green territory.
