The NGXASI declined by 0.40% today to close at 104,663.34pts, as the bearish sentiment on MTNN (-7.58%), GTCO (-3.72%) and DANGSUGAR (-3.67%) drove the market into the red territory.

In the Fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed positive, as buying interest was observed across the curve, consequently Average T-Bills yield moderated by 7bps to close at 18.54%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond market traded on a quiet note as the Average FGN Bond yields was unchanged at 18.40%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira strengthened by 1.88% to close at NGN 1,572.68/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 1.36% to USD86.50pb.
