Top Gainers and Losers: IKEJAHOTEL (+9.91%), UPDCREIT (+9.57%), SOVRENINS (-8.70%) and CHAMS (-7.32%).

Sector Performances: Banking (+0.32%), Industrial (+0.04%), Consumer Goods (-0.05%) and Oil and Gas.

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value increased by 29% and 45%, respectively when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 198 million units of shares worth N5.67 billion. 

GTCO (+0.58%) is the most traded stock by volume and value with about 30 million units of shares worth about N1.57 billion accounting for 15% of the total volume and 28% of the total value.

Likely close: In the absence of any major decrease in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close green.
