Top Gainers and Losers: IKEJAHOTEL (+10.00%), ACADEMY (+9.77%), LIVESTOCK (-10.00%) and CORNERST (-9.94%).

Sector Performances: Banking (+1.92%), Industrial (-2.64%), Consumer Goods (-0.01%) and Oil & Gas. 

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value decreased by 14% and 27% when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 124 million units of shares worth N2.28 billion. 

ZENITHBANK (+2.26%) is the most traded stock by volume and value with about 22 million units of shares worth about N787 million accounting for 18% and 34% of the total volume and value. 

Likely close: In the absence of any significant decline in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close positive.
