MTNN, INTBREW, PZ Drags Nigerian Equities to -0.2% Loss

sentiment observed in MTNN (-6.07%), INTBREW (-3.19%) and PZ (-3.65%) drove the domestic equities market into the negative region.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market continued its positive trend as the bullish sentiment stretched from the short end to the long end of the curve. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield fell by another 2bps to close at 20.77%. However, the FGN Bond market traded on a negative note as the Average FGN Bond yield rose by 1bp to close at 19.03%.

At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.01% to close at NGN1,599.71/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) fell by 2.88% to USD63.96pb.
