The NGXASI declined by 0.33% today to close at 148,832.19pts, as the losses in UBA (-4.88%), PRESCO (-2.03%) and INTBREW (-8.33%) drove the domestic bourse into the red zone.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly positive note, following bullish sentiment observed at the short and long end of the benchmark curve. As such, the Average T-Bills yield decreased by 4bps to close at 17.35%. Likewise, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield moderated by 1bp to close at 15.76%.
At the NFEM window, the Naira slightly weakened by 0.05% to close at NGN 1,437.29/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 0.44% to close at USD63.35pb.
