The NGXASI advanced by 0.09% today to close at 147,115.63pts, as the bullish momentum observed in BUACEMENT (+3.70%), MTNN (+0.64%) and FCMB (+4.76%) drove the local equities market into positive territory.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a positive note, following bullish sentiment observed along all tenors of the benchmark curve. As such, the Average T-Bills yield decreased by 1bp to close at 16.98%. Likewise, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a flat note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged to close at 15.57%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira slightly weakened by 0.07% to close at NGN 1,441.44/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) advanced by 2.63% to close at USD64.50pb.
