The NGXASI advanced today by 0.31% to close at 150,302.32pts, as positive sentiments observed in NESTLE (+10.00%), FIRSTHOLDCO (+7.70%) and UBA (+4.52%) led the market to close in the positive zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a bullish note, driven by buys across the mid and long ends of the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield fell by 1bps to close at 17.47%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a slightly postive note as the Average FGN Bond yield stalled to close at 16.68%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira slightly depreciated by 0.16% to close at NGN 1,457.84/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) tilted climbed by 0.69% to close at USD60.09pb.
