The NGXASI advanced by 4.37% to close at 190,281.56pts, as gains printed in MTNN (+9.99%), DANGCEM(+9.95%) and BUACEMENT (+5.73%) pushed the domestic bourse into the positive territory.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly positive note given the modest buying interest observed across the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield moderated by 2bps to close at 17.53%. However, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a marginally negative note as the Average FGN Bond yield inched up by 1bp to close at 16.13%.
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.56% to close at NGN 1,347.78/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 1.02% to close at USD68.44pb.
