Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value decreased by 4% and 86% respectively, compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 64 million units of shares worth N679 million.

CUSTODIAN is the most traded stock by volume with about 10.5 million units of shares accounting for 17% of the total volume.

MTNN (+1.88%) is the most traded stock by value with about N111 million worth of shares accounting for 16% of the total value.

Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of MTNN and DANGCEM, the market should close positive if the gains recorded in the Oil and Gas and Banking sectors persist.
