Nigerian Bourse Advance +0.67% on Bellwether Gains

The NGXASI advanced by 0.67% today to close at 115,429.54pts, as the gains observed in BUACEMENT (+7.53%), MTNN (+1.56%) and STANBIC (+9.98%) drove the local bourse into the green zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a negative note. As such, Average T-Bills yield increased by 5bps to close at 20.64%. Similarly, the FGN Bond market traded on a negative note as the Average FGN Bond yield inched up by 3bps to close at 18.83%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.63% to close at NGN1,549.35/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) ballooned by 5.67% to USD73.29pb.
