Today, the Nigerian Stock Exchange Market closed on a positive note following share price appreciation in FIRSTHLLD (+9.48%) and PRESCO(+8.23%). As a result, the benchmark All-Share Index (NGX-ASI) rose by 0.48% to close at 133,199.99 points.
Year to date returns rose to 29.41%, while market capitalisation closed at N84.26tn. Activity level in the market appreciated with the total value and volume of stocks traded rising by 33.19% and 20.13% to settle at N22.67bn and 818.39mn units, respectively.
