The NGXASI advanced by 0.52% today to close at 146,569.35pts, as gains in GUINNESS (+9.98%), BUAFOODS (+8.70%) and ETI (+2.78%) drove the local bourse into the green zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a bearish note due to selloffs observed across the benchmark curve. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield inched up by 7bps to close at 17.85%. However, the FGN Bond market traded on a muted note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged to close at 16.48%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.05% to close at NGN1,533.73/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled lower by 0.46% to USD66.58pb.
