Sector Performances: Industrial (-1.49%), Banking (-0.52%), Oil & Gas (-0.23%) and Consumer Goods (-0.18%).

Market activity: In today’s early trade, while total volume declined by 26%, total value increased by 113% compared to this time last Friday as investors have exchanged about 75million units of shares worth about N2.08billion. ACCESS (+0.27%) is the most actively traded stock with 38million units of shares accounting for about 50% of total volume . 

Likely close: In the absence of a significant gain in DANGCEM, the market may close down today if the losses in the across all sectors continue.
