Market activity: In today’s early trade, while total volume increased by 8%, total value declined by 45% compared to this time last Friday as investors have exchanged about 100million units of shares worth about N281million. JAPAULOIL (+7.69%) is the most actively traded stock with 33million units of shares accounting for about 33% of total volume.

Likely close: In the absence of a significant gain in DANGCEM, the market may close down today if the losses in most sectors persist.
