Market movers: CHIPLC (-8.00%), ACADEMY (-7.41%), ETI (+9.29%), JAPAULOIL (+8.33%).

Sector Performances: Industrial (-2.58%), Banking (+1.16%), Consumer Goods (+0.04%) and Oil & Gas.

Market activity: In today’s early trade, total volume and value declined by 88%  and 77% compared to this time yesterday as investors have exchanged over 47million units of shares worth about N1.02billion. ZENITHBANK (+1.33%) is the most actively traded stock with about 8.91million units of shares accounting for about 19% of total volume. 

Likely close: In the absence of a significant gain in DANGCEM, the market may close down today despite gains in Banking and Consumer Goods sector.
