Media Invitation to IOSCO 2017: The role of markets and markets regulators in the post-crisis world

The Financial Services Commission (FSC) will host the 42nd Annual Conference of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) in Montego Bay, Jamaica, on 14-18 May 2017.

The Conference will bring together regulators, members of financial services firms and international organizations from around the globe to discuss many of the challenges facing securities markets today.

The public panels of the Conference will focus on issues such as strengthening the resilience of market structures, mitigating systemic risk, addressing misconduct and building trust in capital markets. Panel participants will also discuss the role of international standards in the marketplace and whether capital markets are doing enough to help finance economic growth and development.
