Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume decreased by 3%, while value increased by 227%, compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 101million units of shares worth N4.84billion. MTNN (+0.50%) is the most actively traded stock thus far with about 20million units of shares accounting for about 20% of the total volume.

Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of DANGCEM and MTNN, the market may close in positive territory today if the gains recorded in the Banking and Consumer Goods sectors persist.
