ASI as at 12.00pm: +1.83%

Market movers: AIRTELAFRI (+10.00%), COURTVILLE (+8.70%), MRS (-9.83%) and CADBURY (-9.69%).

Sector Performances: Oil and Gas (-0.50%), Banking (-0.12%), Consumer Goods (-0.07%) and Industrial.

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value increased by 590% and 49% respectively, compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 331 million units of shares worth N1.44 billion.

STERLNBANK (-3.57%) is the most traded stock by volume with about 170 million units of shares accounting for 51% of the total volume.

ACCESSCORP (+0.63%) is the most traded stock by value with about N616 million worth of shares accounting for 43% of the total value.

Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of DANGCEM, MTNN and AIRTELAFRI, the market should close bullish.
