Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume increased by 44%, while value declined by 75% compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 70 million units of shares worth N639 million.

LIVINGTRUST is the most traded stock by volume with about 30 million units of shares accounting for 43% of the total volume.

DANGCEM (+9.98%)  is the most traded stock by value with about N169 million worth of shares accounting for 26% of the total value.

Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of DANGCEM, MTNN and AIRTELAFRI, the market should close northwards if the gains recorded across the Banking and Industrial sectors persist.
