Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value decreased by 26% and 14% respectively compared to this time yesterday as investors have traded about 52 million units of shares worth N551 million.

STERLNBANK is the most traded stock by volume with about 14 million units of shares accounting for273% of the total volume.

ETI (+2.00%)  is the most traded stock by value with about N86 million worth of shares accounting for 166% of the total value.

Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of DANGCEM, MTNN and AIRTELAFRI, the market should close northwards if the gains recorded across the Consumer Goods, Industrial and Banking sectors persist.
