Sector Performances: Banking (+1.25%), Industrial (+0.13%), Consumer Goods (-0.15%), and Oil and Gas (-0.07%).

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume increased by 50% while value reduced by 42%, compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 96 million units of shares worth N1.04 billion.

STERLNBANK (+6.16%) is the most traded stock by volume with about 13 million units of shares accounting for 13% of the total volume.

ZENITHBANK (+2.39%) is the most traded stock by value with about N291 million worth of shares accounting for 27% of the total value.

Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of AIRTELAFRI, MTNN and DANGCEM, the market should close positive if the gains recorded in the Banking and Industrial sectors persist.
